How We Protect You

Six core principles govern how we collect, store, and use your personal information — because trust is the foundation of every learning relationship.

Minimal Data Collection
We only collect information that is strictly necessary to provide our services — your name, email address, phone number, and learning activity. We do not collect sensitive personal data unless you explicitly provide it and consent to its use.
Secure Storage & Transmission
All data exchanged between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (bcrypt) — we never store or see your plain-text password. Your account is further protected by login attempt limiting to prevent unauthorised access.
No Selling of Personal Data
Your personal information will never be sold, rented, or traded to third parties for commercial purposes. Period. Any data sharing that does occur is strictly limited to what is required to deliver the service — for example, synchronising your account with the RMRDC Learning Management System.
Purpose Limitation
Data collected for one purpose will not be repurposed without your knowledge. Your enrolment information is used to manage your courses and certificates. Your contact details are used to communicate service-related updates. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active or as required by law. If you wish to have your personal data deleted, you can make a written request to our data privacy officer and we will fulfil it within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations we must meet.
Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users promptly in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and take immediate steps to contain and remediate the issue.
